After an implant has been successfully placed and healed into the jaw it is ready for a crown to be put on the implant. To do this an appointment is made to take an impression of the top and bottom teeth as well as of the implant and this is sent to an Australian laboratory for the implant crown to be made. It can be made of ceramic, zirconia, gold, or a mixture of gold and ceramic.
