Dr Nathanael Rowett – General Dentist

Dr Nathanael Rowett has been in the field of dentistry since 2005 and graduated as a dental surgeon from the University of Adelaide in 2011. Prior to becoming a dentist he was a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist graduating his Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Adelaide in 2005 as a multi award winning student with a strong base in preventative dentistry. Nathanael is a firm believer that ‘prevention is better than cure!’

Dr Rowett has experience in both the public and private dental sectors, in Hygiene, Therapy and Dentistry as well as with educating future Hygiene graduates. He has an interest in all aspects of dentistry and aims to provide a holistic approach for all patients and will always do his best for every patient, including referring patients to an appropriate specialist when it is their best option.

With three children Nathanael has his hands full and living locally you will often find him out and about in Stirling or elsewhere in the Adelaide hills in his spare time.

Dr Katherine Rao – General Dentist

Katherine attained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide, and has been practicing in the Adelaide Hills since 2014.

Helping anxious patients and ensuring that they have positive dental experiences is something Katherine finds truly rewarding. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and regularly attends dental seminars and continuing education to improve her knowledge allowing her to offer clients the best dental care.

In her spare time, Katherine loves to travel, and has managed to combine her love of travel with several volunteer programs. This has included time in Kingoonya, SA with the Royal Flying Doctor Service and at the Cambodia World Family clinic in Phnom Penh, providing dental care to underprivileged children. But on the weekends you’re likely to find Katherine hiking through in the Adelaide Hills.

Jimmy Pham – Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist

Jimmy Pham graduated from his Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Adelaide in 2012. After graduating he worked in Western Australia for a year before returning to Adelaide. He enjoys providing preventive treatment for adults and children of all ages. Jimmy can also provide examination, fillings and extractions on children under the age of 18. He is also a believer that prevention is better than treatment and will aim to provide his patients with the best possible care.

Alexandra Ramsay – Hygienist

Alexandra Ramsay has been in the dental field since 2003 and graduated as a dental hygienist (Advanced Diploma of Oral Health) from the Gilles Plains TAFE in 2013, in addition Alexandra has completed the in office whitening and panoramic radiography courses. She has an interest in orthodontics and preventive care with an emphasis on supportive daily care and good oral hygiene routines. Alexandra also has an interest in special needs dentistry.

Dr Ryan Cornish – Dentoalveolar Surgeon

Dr Ryan Cornish joined the team at Stirling Family Dental in 2015 and has a strong interest and significant clinical experience in both Oral Surgery (extractions) and Oral Pathology. After initially undertaking a Medical Science and subsequent First Class Honours Degree from The University of Adelaide between 1995-1998, he then also graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2003 (awarded the University Medal), followed by a Masters Degree in Oral Pathology in 2005.

Ryan has also undertaken some additional formal training in Oral Surgery both in Adelaide and the United Kingdom. In addition to private practice in Adelaide, he has also enjoyed positions teaching Dental Students as a Senior Lecturer for the University of Adelaide, and acted as Clinical Director for the Tasmanian Oral Health Service.

Ryan can undertake procedures both under local anaesthetic, Oral and IV sedation, as well as day surgery at Flinders Private Hospital. Currently he is consulting on alternate Fridays at Stirling Family Dental Centre.

Outside of work Ryan enjoys travelling (including undertaking volunteering in Cambodia/Vietnam), gardening, collecting fine Australian wines, lawn bowls and enjoys a mental challenge with card games and quizzes.

Danny Ho – Specialist Periodontist

Danny graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 and completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with First Class Honours and the University Medal. He completed his Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics in 2010, with admission to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons as a Fellow in the Stream of Periodontics (FRACDS Perio). Additionally, he obtained his Fellowship in the General Stream (FRACDS) in early 2010.

Danny has been involved with undergraduate general dentistry and postgraduate specialist teaching over the past ten years and has given numerous lectures over the years. He is an examiner for the MRACDS program and is the current Vice President of the Australian Society of Periodontology (SA Branch). His ANZAP award-winning research involved clinical and radiographic evaluation of novel dental implants and he has a passion for all facets of periodontology, including general periodontal treatment, periodontal regeneration, mucogingival therapy, orthodontics-related treatment, and implantology.

Dr Danny Ho consults for Enhance Periodontics and implants several times a month on a Thursday night and Saturday morning from the rooms at Stirling Family Dental.

Debbie Williams

Stirling born and bred Debbie has had years of experience in allied health and knows the importance of good customer service and delivers this with a smile and a sense of humour. In her spare time she enjoys floristry, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Tayla Donnelly

Tayla joined the team at Stirling Family Dental in 2016 and underwent the certificate 3 in dental assisting traineeship. She has proved herself to be a valuable team member and a friendly face who you can easily have a conversation or a laugh with.

Kirsty Field

Kirsty Joined the Stirling Family Dental Team in late 2017 and from day one was an excellent fit with the group and extremely helpful in making patients feel calm and at ease, she subsequently commenced the certificate 3 in dental assisting. She grew up in meadows and graduated from the eastern fleurieu high school in Strathalbyn. Kirsty enjoys spending her spare time with friends and family and going on holidays and adventures.

Sandra Dellasala

Sandra also joined the Stirling Family Dental team in 2017 and has proved herself to be very helpful to clients and extremely approachable for patients. She is a friendly face and has become and essential part of the group. Sandra aspires to become a dental Hygienist and we at Stirling family dental will support her with this however we can.
